The Phasor JD4-80.0 is a heavy-duty low-speed marine diesel generator for large commercial and recreational vessels requiring 80 kW of 60Hz AC power. It uses a John Deere 4045H turbocharged aftercooled four-cylinder diesel engine operating at 1,800 RPM and a direct-coupled brushless generator with solid-state voltage regulation. The base configuration is open frame, while a sound-attenuation enclosure may be available as an optional configuration.
The generator uses freshwater heat-exchanger cooling with a bronze raw-water impeller pump. It includes a remote gauge panel with oil-pressure, coolant-temperature, voltage, and hour-meter monitoring, plus automatic shutdown for low oil pressure, high coolant temperature, and overspeed. A high-capacity installation requires professional engineering for structural support, cooling, fuel, exhaust, ventilation, AC distribution, grounding, and transfer switching.
