The Raymarine ACU-200 Actuator Control Unit, SKU E70099, is a 12V or 24V Evolution autopilot drive controller for compatible Type 1 hydraulic pumps, Type 1 mechanical linear drives, Type 1 rotary drives, and approved geared-motor installations. It supplies the high-current power interface between the EV-1 sensor and control head network and the selected steering drive. The ACU-200 is a component only and requires separate Evolution sensors, controls, drive hardware, and installation materials.

The ACU-200 provides up to 15A continuous drive output and can supply power to the SeaTalkng backbone. Its IPX2 enclosure is intended for dry protected mounting. Verify the selected drive type, motor current, clutch connection, hydraulic-cylinder volume where relevant, 12V or 24V supply, cable size, circuit protection, and steering-system compatibility before purchase.

System Integration

The ACU-200 is not an autopilot by itself. Pair it with a compatible EV-1 sensor core, p70s or p70Rs control head, SeaTalkng network, and drive unit selected for the vessel’s steering system. Its 15A continuous rating is appropriate for Type 1-class drives, but it is not suitable for a Type 2 or Type 3 drive that requires the higher-capacity ACU-400.

Virtual Rudder Feedback may be supported by the completed Evolution system on suitable vessels, but installations with mechanical steering, linear drives, or specific hydraulic configurations can require a physical rudder-feedback transducer. Verify the required feedback method before system installation.

Before Ordering

Confirm the selected Type 1 hydraulic, linear, rotary, or geared-motor drive, drive current at or below 15A continuous, 12V or 24V supply, EV-1 sensor core, p70-series control head, SeaTalkng network, physical-feedback requirement, dry mounting space, cable sizing, circuit protection, and complete autopilot-system components before purchase.
