The Raymarine EV-100 Power Evolution Autopilot System is a complete 12V hydraulic autopilot package for compatible small powerboats with hydraulic steering. It includes the p70Rs color control head, EV-1 nine-axis sensor core, ACU-100 actuator control unit, and Type 0.5 reversible hydraulic pump. The Type 0.5 pump is intended for suitable hydraulic steering cylinders within its approved capacity range, while vessel-specific hoses, fittings, and plumbing components must be confirmed separately.

The ACU-100 provides up to 7A continuous drive output for the included Type 0.5 pump. The EV-1 supplies heading and motion data, while the p70Rs provides a 3.5-inch color display with rotary autopilot control. This system is intended for hydraulic steering only and is not suitable for mechanical cable steering, wheel-drive, tiller-drive, or electronic steer-by-wire applications.

System Integration

The system includes the main autopilot components and pump but does not automatically include all hydraulic hoses, fittings, tee connectors, isolation valves, fluid, or steering-manufacturer-specific adapters. Confirm the actual steering-cylinder volume, system pressure, helm-pump arrangement, hose size, fitting type, and pump location before purchase.

The EV-1 sensor core measures vessel motion but does not measure physical rudder angle. Virtual Rudder Feedback may remove the need for a separate feedback sensor on suitable installations, but certain hydraulic systems require a physical rudder-feedback transducer for proper control and commissioning.

Before Ordering

Confirm compatible hydraulic steering, steering-cylinder volume within the Type 0.5 pump specification, hydraulic pressure, required hoses and fittings, 12V supply, 7A continuous drive capacity, pump mounting location, ACU-100 dry mounting space, p70Rs helm-panel space, EV-1 sensor location, SeaTalkng network, VRF or physical-feedback requirement, and complete hydraulic installation components before purchase.
