Raymarine EV-200 Power Evolution Autopilot System

The Raymarine EV-200 Power Evolution Autopilot System, SKU T70156, is a core autopilot package for mid-size powerboats with compatible hydraulic or mechanical steering. It includes the EV-1 nine-axis sensor core, ACU-200 actuator control unit, p70Rs rotary control head, and Evolution cabling kit. A compatible Type 1 hydraulic pump, linear drive, rotary drive, or other approved steering actuator is sold separately, so this is not a complete steering system.

The ACU-200 supports 12V or 24V DC systems and provides up to 15A continuous drive output for compatible Type 1 hydraulic pumps, linear drives, and rotary drives. The p70Rs offers a dedicated 3.5-inch color display with rotary control, while the EV-1 provides heading and motion data. Select the drive around the vessel’s steering system, displacement, hydraulic-cylinder volume, current demand, and physical installation requirements.

System Integration

This is a core pack, not a complete autopilot installation. Select a drive that matches the vessel steering type, cylinder volume, required flow or thrust, steering load, operating voltage, current demand, and manual-override requirements. The selected drive must remain within the ACU-200’s 15A continuous output rating.

For a hydraulic-steering powerboat, a compatible Type 1 pump is normally selected for cylinders between 80 cc and 230 cc, or 4.9 to 14 cubic inches. Confirm the actual steering-cylinder specification and hydraulic-system pressure rather than selecting the pump from boat length alone.
