The Raymarine T121 is a wireless hull transmitter for Tacktick Micronet instrument systems. It sits inside the boat and passes hull-mounted sensor information to wireless displays, making it useful when running new data cable through the vessel is difficult. This is an interface unit, not a chartplotter, depth gauge, or standalone wireless display.

The T121 uses proprietary Micronet wireless at 868MHz or 916MHz and needs a 9-24V DC external supply. At only 40mA, it places little load on the boat’s electrical system. The IPX6 housing suits a protected hull-space installation, but the unit still needs a sensible dry mounting location. It has no wired network ports, so compatibility depends on the existing Micronet displays, sensors, and wireless system frequency.

Who Is This For?

This Raymarine wireless instrument interface suits boats using a Tacktick Micronet network where a wired run to the hull is inconvenient. It is not ideal for a new NMEA 2000 installation or a boat without compatible Micronet displays and sensors.

Warranty & Support

Raymarine provides a 2-year standard warranty, or 3 years with registration as listed in the supplied specifications. Warranty exclusions and service procedures were not provided.

The T121 is useful when a Micronet sailing system needs a wireless link from hull-mounted sensors to cockpit displays. Its advantage is avoiding a long data cable, while the trade-off is a proprietary network and external power requirement. Choose it for an existing Tacktick installation, not as a universal NMEA 2000 gateway.
