Need Class B+ AIS without a built-in display? The V3100 uses status LEDs, supports 12V/24V power, and fits into a compact protected interior installation.
Integration
The V3100 needs a suitable AIS/VHF antenna or approved splitter, an installed GNSS antenna with clear sky view, correct MMSI/static vessel-data programming, and a compatible MFD, chartplotter, or computer. It is not a VHF voice radio, radar, chartplotter, emergency beacon, or collision-avoidance guarantee.
Class B+ SOTDMA AIS can offer higher transmit output and more structured time-slot access than 2W CSTDMA Class B equipment. Actual AIS reception and transmission depend on antenna quality, VHF conditions, correct programming, and local coverage. AIS does not show every boat, buoy, floating object, or hazard.
