Vexilar FLX-18 Genz Pack w/12 Degree Ice-Ducer & DD-100

The Vexilar FLX-18 Genz Pack, model GPX1812D, is a portable three-color ice-fishing flasher system with a 200 kHz 12-degree Ice-Ducer and DD-100 digital depth indicator. It provides real-time sonar returns below the ice, plus digital depth, battery status, Auto Zoom, and Bottom Lock functions. The Genz Pack carrier is designed for portable use and fits on a standard five-gallon bucket.

The system includes the FLX-18 flasher, 12-degree Ice-Ducer, DD-100 module, Genz Pack carrier, 12V 9Ah sealed lead-acid battery, and charger. It provides 50W RMS and 400W peak-to-peak sonar output with a stated maximum depth range of 200 ft. This is a sonar-only ice-fishing system without GPS, maps, chartplotter functions, wireless connectivity, NMEA networking, routes, or waypoints.

System Integration

The FLX-18 Genz Pack is a self-contained portable sonar flasher and does not require a GPS antenna, chartplotter, NMEA 2000 network, external sonar module, or vessel power connection. It provides vertical sonar information only and does not support electronic charts, position tracking, routes, or waypoint storage.

Use gain, depth range, digital depth, Auto Zoom, and Bottom Lock settings according to fishing depth, lure position, nearby sonar interference, and target separation requirements. The 12-degree Ice-Ducer should remain level below the ice for the clearest sonar returns.
