The VTE Paguro 9000 is a high-speed marine diesel generator for 60Hz AC systems. In the 60Hz configuration, it delivers 8.5 kW continuous output, or 10 kVA, at 3,600 RPM and uses a Lombardini LDW 702 two-cylinder diesel engine with a water-cooled brushless synchronous alternator. It is available for 115V or 115/230V single-phase output, depending on the exact alternator configuration.
The generator uses freshwater cooling through a heat exchanger and a self-priming raw-water pump, with a stainless-steel water jacket cooling the alternator. It is housed in a reinforced fiberglass soundproof capsule and includes remote LCD controls with hour meter, load indication, frequency or engine-speed display, automatic start, and low-oil-pressure plus over-temperature protection.
