The Raymarine ACU-150 Actuator Control Unit is a 12V autopilot drive controller designed for compatible Raymarine Evolution systems using a Type 1 hydraulic pump. It connects the EV-1 sensor core and p70Rs control head to the steering pump through SeaTalkng and direct motor terminals. The ACU-150 is intended for hydraulic steering cylinders from 4.9 to 14 cubic inches when paired with the correct Type 1 drive system.
The ACU-150 provides up to 12A continuous drive output and is commonly specified with a 15A peak-load planning limit for Type 1 hydraulic pump installations. It measures approximately 180 mm by 140 mm, weighs 0.6 kg, and uses a reinforced ABS enclosure with IPX2 drip protection. Because the ACU-150 is an actuator-control component, it must be mounted in a dry protected interior location and used with separate Evolution sensor, control head, pump, hydraulic plumbing, and power hardware.
